Make an in-kind donation

Unity Health on Main collects items for patients including:

Baby shower items for our “New Mommy” program participants:

Diapers (size newborn), baby wipes, baby powder, baby bathing supplies, baby lotion, sunblock, and diaper rash ointment. No used or open items can be accepted. UHM enjoys accepting homemade gifts like blankets and onesies. UHM can accept gently used clothing, towels, hats, and swaddling blankets. Unfortunately, UHM cannot accept and safety equipment such as car seats, highchairs, cribs, and bouncers/swings.

School supplies for our annual Back-to-School Drive, including:

Annually, UHM hosts a Back-to-School Drive. At the event kids receive free backpacks filled with new school supplies. UHM accepts supplies for the event year-round. UHM is in need of backpacks, composition notebooks, loose leaf paper, construction paper, binders, glue sticks, crayons, washable Crayola markers, erasers, #2 pencils, ball point pens, 4×6 index cards, colored pencils, scissors, hand sanitizer, tissues, and fun items for the classroom.

New toys (still in their original packaging) for pre-K to 11-year-old children for our annual Holiday Toy Drive.

Every year, UHM collaborates with local school districts to distribute toys to underserved kids just in time for the holidays. Through outreach events in years past, we have given gifts to over 50 families. Please donate new toys for our toy drive at any time throughout the year. Also, come wrap with us! We always need volunteers for our holiday events!

Books (New and Lightly Used)

UHM fosters literacy during early childhood checkups by giving parents of infants and school-aged children books to build their home libraries. There are many ways to donate!

• Donate any book for distribution- we will find a way!
• Donate new, baby books. Board books (hard covers) are best for our little teethers.
• Donate bilingual books. UHM’s population is diverse; help us diversify our library!
• Host a book drive

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer:

We are always looking for volunteers to assist with promoting our health center services and programs. All volunteers must fill out a volunteer application and undergo a background check.

Special Events

Our highest need areas are in special events and outreach, specifically for our Spring and Fall health fairs. At these events, you may greet guests, assist with set-up and tear-down, pass out educational materials or help with crowd control depending on your preference.

Student/Corporate

If you are a student organization or Corporation looking for a group volunteer opportunity, we welcome groups that are interested in hosting food and toy drives, or performing beautification projects at our clinic, helping with events, and more.
